Leave It All Behind – NERVED (Limited Gated Foldback Red Vinyl)

An album should be experienced as a complete journey, from the opening note to the final silence. And nothing compares to holding the music you love in your hands. Released in 2018, Leave It All Behind marked the beginning of a new chapter for NERVED, with Petra Kvännå stepping forward as the band’s lead vocalist.

The album brings together massive guitars, atmospheric electronics, powerful rhythms and strong melodies. Songs such as “Freedom”, “Silence”, “Bitch” and the title track reveal different sides of NERVED, moving between raw energy, darkness and more emotional moments without losing the weight at the heart of the band’s sound.

Leave It All Behind also features two distinctive guest appearances. Jakob Samuel of The Poodles appears on the emotional “I Love You”, while Richard Sjunnesson of The Unguided and formerly Sonic Syndicate brings his unmistakable growls to the explosive single “Electric”.

The album was mixed by Pontus Frisk and mastered by Henrik Jonsson at Masters of Audio in Stockholm, giving the music the powerful, detailed and dynamic sound it deserves.

This limited edition is pressed on striking red vinyl and presented in a gatefold sleeve. It also includes a deluxe 16 page booklet featuring the complete lyrics, band photos and full album credits.

Leave It All Behind is more than a record from NERVED’s history. It is the album that opened the door to the band’s current era, presented in the format it was made to be experienced in.
