Kompromat – NERVED LP (limited edition)

An album should be heard from beginning to end. And nothing compares to holding the music you love in your hands. Kompromat, the fourth album from Swedish concrete metal band NERVED, was made for exactly that experience. It brings together more than two decades of heavy music, creative evolution and uncompromising expression.

The album combines new material with completely reworked versions of songs from the band’s earlier releases Offline and Finally Nerved. Familiar foundations have been rebuilt with massive guitars, electronic textures, powerful rhythms and the unmistakable voice of Petra Kvännås.

Kompromat also reflects NERVED’s long history alongside some of the most recognised names in Swedish metal, rock and pop. The album features guest appearances from Richard Sjunnesson of The Unguided and formerly Sonic Syndicate, Zakk Tell of Clawfinger, Thobbe Englund of Sabaton, Pontus Norgren of Hammerfall, Jens Westin of Corroded and Russian rapper MAD-A.

Opening track “Don’t Lie” features Richard Sjunnesson, whose growls collide with Petra’s vocals in one of the album’s most direct moments. Across Kompromat, NERVED move between darkness, melody and raw aggression, with tracks such as “I Rise”, “Disclosure”, “The Lid” and their heavy interpretation of “Set Fire to the Rain”.

The title Kompromat comes from the Russian term for compromising material. In NERVED’s hands, it becomes something more personal: an album about what we hide, what we reveal and what remains when the truth finally surfaces.

This vinyl edition also includes an exclusive bonus track: a special remix of “Everlasting” that is not available on streaming platforms or any other edition of the album.
